Ahh, spring has sprung!
It’s so wonderful being able to drive to work and return home while it’s still light – the days seem so much longer 🙂
Throughout March, I was officially moving into my flat and sorting out lots of life admin – bills, bills, bills – but I still found time to find a few favourite things along the way.

The snow is just about beginning to melt in Wales & if 4 days inside the house has taught me something, it’s that I really should keep up with writing a blog!
It’s also taught me that eating my weight in chocolate digestives and justifying it with ‘it’s cold, I need more fat’ is not the right way to go.
Anywho, I have some good news to share with you all – woohoo!

Can you believe that babies born in 2000 are now allowed to legally enter a nightclub? Because I cannot.
This year, I’ll be 25 and there are going to be plenty of changes afoot.

My heart has only just settled down enough for me to write this post!

I started listening to podcasts when I was making long journeys back & fore to London – before that, I’d never really given them a second thought.

It’s the start of a new year and I think pretty much everyone I know is glad to see the back of 2016! What a weird year!
Although there were a lot of highlights in 2016, I didn’t do half the things I said I was going to do.

This week, I’m introducing you guys to a charity that I’ve recently become involved with!
A couple of weeks ago, I came into contact with James & his wonderful charity, CATS.
The charity focuses on promoting awareness of cancer symptoms to young people, particularly students. As someone who had cancer as a teenager, I was keen to get involved to prevent other people being misdiagnosed like I was.

Today is Women’s Equality Day in the US – a day that deserves plenty of celebration and lots of conversation. On the 26th August 1920, women were granted official permission to vote by the US Government.
Although I live in the UK, I feel that an achievement for women anywhere is an achievement for women everywhere. We are still fighting sexism worldwide every day but thanks to the women of previous generations, we have a lot more rights than they did.
When I was younger, I definitely took my right to vote for granted. To put it simply, I wasn’t interested in politics at all. I didn’t really care who was in charge of the country or what it would mean for me because I had more important things to worry about like who was gossiping about who, of course! But everything changed for me when I went to university… Continue reading “Why Celebrate Women’s Equality Day? | News”
Hey lovely people,
I usually don’t do health updates on this blog – I prefer to leave it over at my cancer advice website rather than overload you with medical stuff – but this one is pretty important.
I thought I’d share this information with you guys because the impact of this news has encouraged me to change my whole lifestyle and you may see more health/fitness related things popping up on my blog in the future. I really hope that you don’t mind 🙂
So, let’s take it back to the very beginning…
