Summer is here, it’s boiling hot and I’ve decided to join a gym & get even sweatier.

I haven’t been to the gym since I was at uni but, as with most things in my life, all it took was a friend saying ‘let’s start going to the gym together!’ for me to sign on up.

Ahh, spring has sprung!

Happy Life & Health Things | News

The snow is just about beginning to melt in Wales & if 4 days inside the house has taught me something, it’s that I really should keep up with writing a blog!

It’s also taught me that eating my weight in chocolate digestives and justifying it with ‘it’s cold, I need more fat’ is not the right way to go.

Getting To Know CATS! | News

This week, I’m introducing you guys to a charity that I’ve recently become involved with!

A couple of weeks ago, I came into contact with James & his wonderful charity, CATS.

The charity focuses on promoting awareness of cancer symptoms to young people, particularly students. As someone who had cancer as a teenager, I was keen to get involved to prevent other people being misdiagnosed like I was.

Why Celebrate Women’s Equality Day? | News

Today is Women’s Equality Day in the US – a day that deserves plenty of celebration and lots of conversation. On the 26th August 1920, women were granted official permission to vote by┬áthe US Government.

Although I live in the UK, I feel that an achievement for women anywhere is an achievement for women everywhere. We are still fighting sexism worldwide every day but thanks to the women of previous generations, we have a lot more rights than they did.

When I was younger, I definitely took my right to vote for granted. To put it simply, I wasn’t interested in politics at all. I didn’t really care who was in charge of the country or what it would mean for me because┬áI had more important things to worry about like who was gossiping about who, of course!
